The Inaugural Capital Cup at Whitetail is part of the Mid-Atlantic Cup Downhill and Dual Slalom Series. The Mid-Atlantic Cup is the NORBA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship series. The series consists of four individual Championship races. Each race is also a qualifier for the U.S. Nationals at Mammoth, Ca. at the end of the year.
